It was a beautiful afternoon and we were driving around looking for a museum to go see on our vacation a few years ago… Earlier in the morning a unfortunate disagreement happened before we left, and it was very stressful.
The ‘Lil Old Man at the Bus Stop
As we drove down this main road that goes through the small town, we passed a musuem, but it was closed. So my husband parked a little ways up and I got out, and quickly walked to the location to check the hours. As I was walking by, I passed a gentleman sitting at the bus stop. I didn’t pay no mind as I walked by and when I did, he said quietly, “God loves you.”
It stopped me in my tracks and I was shocked because nothing like that has ever happened to me before. I turned around stunned and looked at him, and uttered out,”God loves you too.” He got so happy and surprised when I said that and stood up. And he took my hands and we hugged. We had a very short conversation and then the bus came, and he had to go. And just like that he was on and gone. And I went to the museum and checked the time it opened and went back to my car.
“LET BROTHERLY LOVE CONTINUE” —Hebrews 13:1-2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
God bless! Have a wonderful week! 😊☕️🌸 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. —Psalm 18:1
