snowday

Seven letters all kids like to hear, well.. mine anyway. A very happy day for my son, but not much for me and those who have to still head on out on this extremely cold day. Apparently, it’s so cold that on the news people are playing frizbee with their frozen clothes. But in all this, I have my TV fire place going (I hope this stays on till the end of winter!) and enjoying my cup of coffee that changes colours when heated (that was given to me surprisingly last year); the little things I’m so grateful for that the Lord has blessed us with even if it’s not fancy dancy. I was to travel 4 hours away tomorrow to begin the process of obtaining hearing aids and view a couple places, but now I’ll have to put that off.

Boasting About Tomorrow

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. —James 4:13-17

Till next time. Stay safe and warm. Bundle up. Laters.
