A devotional I came upon today and it’s so nice, I thought I’d share. Have a great weekend everyone!
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
The world is passing away, and the lust of it. Surely every man walks about like a shadow; surely they busy themselves in vain; he heaps up riches, and does not know who will gather them. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Martha, Martha, you are worried and trouble about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. I want you to be without care.
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. The Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
