Lens-Artists #100 – The Long and Winding Road

Good morning, my entry for Tina’s, Lens-Artists Challenge #100 – The Long and Winding Road.

Taken one summer’s vacation to Drumheller off the side of the road; a farmers field. (Archives)

The first photo is also from up north taken in October of 2008; the beauty of autumn.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.

Isaiah 49:11

  1. Love the photo of the road underneath that dramatic sky. Glider pilots call rows of clouds similar to those in your image as “cloud streets”. Gliders find lift under each of those darker areas and can travel for miles without the benefit of an engine as they glide from one cloud to the next.
